OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS


Deborah Briggs
Debbie Briggs, a member of the Shadowland Board since 1997, has lived in the Ellenville community for over 20 years. She is Vice President of Ellenville Regional Hospital and Executive Director of the Ellenville Regional Hospital Foundation. Other community activities include the New York State Special Olympics, the Ellenville 4th of July Committee and the Ellenville Noonday Club. Although not an actor, the Shadowland Stages is her passion!

Pam Buchwalter (Treasurer)
Pam Buchwalter of Ellenville joined the Shadowland Board in January, 2019. We can expect to see her spending most of her time in the Center Street office and volunteering her husband, Roger for various projects around the Shadowland. Pam is employed as a Financial Specialist at the Mid-Hudson Regional Information Center and brings over thirty years of varied Accounting experience to the Shadowland. In addition to her Shadowland volunteering, she is a Trustee of the Ellenville Public Library and Museum and the Treasurer of the Ulster BOCES United Employees NYSUT union.

Shelley Collier
Shelley Collier, one of the individuals who embraced the idea of nurturing the existence of Shadowland since its very inception, formally joined the board of directors in 2001. Shelley balances work at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown with time spent golfing, skiing and spending time with her grandchildren

Ray Faiola (Vice- President)
Ray Faiola has been both an actor and a recently retired CBS Television Network executive for four decades. Ray has appeared in several Shadowland main stage productions since moving to Ellenville and has also produced an annual evening of vintage radio drama live-on-stage. In addition, Ray restores classic film musical scores for release on CD; and presents an annual festival of classic films using shorts and features from his personal 16mm collection. Member, Actors Equity Association.

Genaro Garcia

JB Gillette
JB Gillette of Ellenville is the President of Gillette Creamery and their family business was named Ulster County’s 2010 Entrepreneur of the Year. Gillette has 30 years of business experience and currently serves on the Ellenville Regional Hospital Board of Directors, the Nestle National Distributor Council, was past president of the Shawangunk Country Club and has volunteered with many organizations throughout the area.

Jim McIntyre (President)
Jim McIntyre has served on the Shadowland Board since 1988 and is the current President. Originally asked to join the Board by Ron Marquette, Jim has held a variety of positions and has led numerous initiatives for the theater. Most recently, he has overseen the renovation projects Shadowland Stages has undertaken and has chaired the Capital Campaign Committee with Bob Osgood. For this and much more, in 2018 Jim was honored with the Volunteer of the Year Award by Arts MidHudson. A retired schoolteacher, Jim lives in Summitville with his wife of 37 years, Vicki.

Robert Osgood
Robert M. Osgood is a retired partner of the international law firm Sullivan & Cromwell, having worked for 42 years out of the firm’s New York and London offices. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a director of Dell’Arte Opera Ensemble in New York.

Rachael Pompeii (Secretary)
Rachael Pompeii was born in Sullivan County, NY and just recently returned to the area with her husband, Devon Craft. She is new to the board, having joined in 2020. She works as an Instructor of English at Ulster County Community College, where she teaches writing, reading, and literature. While in college, Rachael spent much of her time working on theatrical productions, so she is looking forward returning to the world of theater with Shadowland Stages.

Carl Rosenstock
Carl Rosenstock was born in Ellenville. He is retired secretary-treasurer of General Sportwear, a manufacturer of children’s jeanswear. Carl served on the Ellenville National Bank and Provident Bank boards of directors. He is currently serving on the Village of Ellenville Planning Board and Revolving Loan Committee. Additionally, he is serving on the Ellenville Regional Hospital foundation board.
